THE HARSH TRUTH ABOUT MAKING PASSIVE INCOME IN 2020
If Making Money Online in 2020 is so easy why doesn’t everyone do it? I get hit with this question all the time whenever I talk about Passive Income and Entrepreneurship.
The funny thing is that I’ve NEVER said it was EASY, but I have claimed that it is SIMPLE. But if it’s so simple why doesn’t everyone do it? Good question.
I once heard the phrase, common sense, is not common practice, and it stuck with me, and I think it relates to Passive Income and Making Money Online in a big way. Because we all generate Passive Income for someone other than ourselves and we all are spending money online. So why don’t we reverse that and do it for ourselves?
For one thing if you KNEW that you need to move to transaction based income instead of time based income, (which most people don’t even consider), you’d still have 2 big problems. The first is you’d have to find the confidence to do it, and the second is you’d have to have the confidence to keep trying and refining your methods until it works.
FEAR OF FAILURE AND LACK OF COMMITMENT IS ROBBING YOU BLIND
Fear, lack of confidence, skepticism, bad past experiences, whatever the reason is in your mind, it is the barrier to action, and action is the ONLY thing that produces a result, good or bad. And for me the same emotional and mental block you might have about Passive Income or Making Money Online is the same one I have about human connection.
It’s challenging for me to make friends, because I’m constantly scared of saying or doing the wrong thing and embarrass myself. You don’t want to risk time or money in a online business that might fail, and I don’t want to risk humiliating myself in front of pretty girl, or a group of strangers.
Until we resolve our ability to commit and gather the small scraps of courage we have, and take some risk, we can’t expect to be rewarded in the same ways as other people. So it’s important to have reasonable expectations and respect small victories.
Start with a small and reasonable goal for making money online like making your first $100, then try and see if you can double that, and so on and so on. Then maybe challenge yourself to make an extra $100 day and see how many days you can make that goal.
When we have small wins, we have FACTS that we can confront our fears with. But we have to be willing to at least risk failure, or rejection in or to gain anything worth having.
